This superb Provençal house is situated in an idyllic location in pretty countryside less than 1km from a beautiful village. It has an enclosed garden, 2000m², which is mostly grass and leads down to a stream (which is fenced off). There is a lovely private pool which has steps for easy access. The pool has a laser security alarm and there are loungers for relaxing on the large poolside terrace. There is also a garage and plenty of space for parking within the property. The house is new and is immaculate inside. It is built in traditional Provençal style and has a beautiful large covered terrace attached to the house and overlooking the pool. The terrace has comfortable seating and furniture for outdoor dining. There is also a barbecue and a ping-pong table. The interior is spacious and light and well designed; it is furnished in attractive contemporary style. We think this property makes an excellent holiday villa: it is secluded but not isolated, and as is a short pleasant walk to a lovely village.

Accommodation
On the ground floor there is a spacious open-plan living room with dining area, comfortable seating, fireplace, satellite television, CD and DVD player. The kitchen area is large and very well equipped: it has a 4-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and electric kettle. There is a washing machine and drier in the very spacious cellar. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor: bedroom one has twin beds and an en suite shower room with shower and W.C. Bedroom two has a double bed, 140cm, and is next to a bathroom with a bath and hand held shower and separate W.C. Upstairs, bedroom 3 has twin beds and an en suite shower room with shower and W.C. Bedroom four has a double bed and is next to a bathroom with a bath and hand held shower and separate W.C. A cot is available upon request. The house has oil-fired central heating.

Situation
The house is in the Var département, a pleasant 800m walk from the beautiful medieval village of Villecroze which has 3 or 4 good restaurants, a boulangerie, good local shops and a market on Thursday mornings. The village has a large, shaded square for playing boules surrounded by outdoor café-restaurants. The vieille ville (old town) has been meticulously restored, with many of the original arched walls remaining. There are many other picturesque villages to visit within a few minutes drive: Tourtour 6km, Salernes 8km, Aups 5km and Cotignac 12km. Nearby activities include horse riding and tennis, 5km. This is the heart of the Côtes de Provence wine producing area and there are many opportunities for wine tasting at local vineyards. It is about 60km to the coast to Sainte Maxime and Saint Tropez, and about 20km to the Lac de Sainte Croix which is a large lake with beached areas for swimming.
Linen and terms
Linen is provided. Please bring towels for the swimming pool. Refundable damage deposit EUR 300 cash. The pool is heatable usually between beginning of May to end of September. Outside this period we need to check. Normal consumption of electricity is included but there is an extra charge for heating the pool.
