The following holiday properties are near Avignon in Provence. Avignon has an international airport with flights from several British airports, and also a TGV railway station. The journey from London to Avignon with Eurostar takes about 6 hours. Avignon is also a beautiful city in its own right and well worth a visit to see the Palais des Papes, the famous Pont St Bénezet, the ancient streets and restored medieval ramparts, or just to wander around the superb market.


Several of our clients have travelled by train to Avignon - it’s definitely an option worth considering; more relaxing than a long drive through France, you can enjoy scenic views along the way, and you can pick up a hire car at the TGV station as well as at the airport.
