This attractive Provençal house stands in 3600m² of grounds, mostly level grass with some mature trees, on the hills to the north of Aix-en-Provence. It is in a rural location, but not isolated: there are other villas dotted around. There is a private swimming pool which is enclosed, a large terrace with loungers and garden furniture for outdoor meals. There is a portable barbecue, a ping-pong table and parking for three cars within the property. It is in an excellent position for visiting the Lubéron and for easy access to Aix-en-Provence. There is occasional noise from passing traffic on a minor road. The interior is cheerfully decorated and furnished in contemporary style.

Accommodation
There is a spacious open-plan sitting room, 40m², which has comfortable seating, a billiard table, television with satellite, video, DVD and CD player. An archway leads through to the large, sunny kitchen which has a 4-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. The kitchen and sitting room both open onto a large attractive terrace. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, 140 cm, and a large shower room with a shower a bidet and two wash basins. There is a separate W.C. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed, 140cm, and the other with twin beds, 90cm. There is a bathroom with a bath and a separate W.C. A cot and high chair are available upon request.

Situation
The house is about 1km from the small village which has a boulangerie, a tabac with some basic food supplies and a restaurant. There are more facilities in the larger village of Venelles, about 6km, which has a supermarket, a few restaurants and tennis courts. The property is situated about 12km north of Aix-en-Provence, in the region where they produce the wine 'Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence' and there are many 'caves' where you can taste the excellent rosé de Provence. Aix has a reputation for being one of the finest cultural centres of France and it is a lively town with numerous cafés and restaurants and elegant shops. Nearby activities include horse riding, 10km, and golf at Eguilles, 14km. There is much to explore in this area: the coast is about 40km and it is an easy trip to the delightful little fishing port at Cassis and the sandy beaches at Bandol. Inland, the ancient villages of the Lubéron are within about a 20 minute drive.
Linen and terms
Linen may be hired from the owners at a supplement of EUR 15 per person for bed linen and towels. Final clean EUR 60 (compulsory). Refundable damage deposit EUR 500 cash. Electricity is included.
