This villa is in the town of Cannes and is well placed for easy access to the town, lively nightlife and beaches. The accommodation is all on one floor, the first floor being occupied by the French owners, but the pool is exclusively for the tenants of the ground floor as is the lovely, secluded garden. The pool has a security fence around it making this property an excellent choice for families. There is a shower by the pool, a barbecue, garden furniture including loungers, some swings and a badminton net in the garden. There is secure parking for two cars within the property. The style of furnishing and décor is a bit old fashioned but the property is always immaculately clean and we think the apartment represents excellent value for money; it is unusual to find a property with a private pool so close to the centre of Cannes. |

Accommodation
There is a living room with sofa, television and dining area. The kitchen is separate and has a 3-ring hob, oven and microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer. There are three bedrooms, two with a double bed, 140cm, and one with twin beds, 80cm. There is one bathroom with a shower cubicle, a small bath and a separate W.C., and there is a ‘cabinet de toilette’ with washbasin (cold water only) and bidet and W.C. en suite to one of the double bedrooms. This bedroom is attached to the house but access to it is via an outside door.

Situation
The centre of Cannes is just 2km away and there are regular buses. The beach at Cannes is also about 2km and there are tennis courts 3km. Cannes has a wide range of restaurants and it is possible to eat well without spending a fortune. Some of the little restaurants on the beach, la Plage du Midi, near the old part of the town are particularly good. There is also a restaurant in a great location right on the beach at the Plage des Sports, see last photo. The marché Forville behind the picturesque old harbour (see photo below) is also well worth a visit for a terrific range of local produce. From Cannes there are boat trips (15 minutes) to the beautiful Iles de Lérins which provide a peaceful contrast from the lively bustle of the town. Cannes is also well placed for exploring the coast by train: there are regular trains to Saint Raphael, Nice and into Italy.
Linen and terms
The owner is unable to provide linen hire at this property but it is possible to arrange this through an agency. Refundable damage deposit EUR 250 cash. Electricity and gas are extra. Final cleaning charge EUR 35 (compulsory). A femme de ménage is available for extra hours upon request, EUR 12 per hour. Taxe de séjour payable locally approx. EUR 1.30 per adult per day. Sorry no pets.
