It is very unusual to find a property like this one, with a private swimming pool right in the heart of a town: this charming Provençal house is ideally placed just a few minutes walk from the shops in the centre of the small market town of Peymeinade. There is a small, enclosed garden, about 300m², to the front and the back of the property. The swimming pool is at the back of the house and has wide gentle steps making access to the water easy for non-swimmers; it has a security alarm. There is a barbecue and a shaded terrace for outdoor dining as well as a sunny terrace for relaxing by the pool. There is also a garage and a parking space in the drive.
The house has recently been renovated and newly decorated. It is furnished in a mixture of antique and contemporary styles. This is a very appealing house and it would be a comfortable place to stay out-of-season as well as in the summer. The location is excellent, handy for the shops but not on a main road, and convenient for catching the bus if you don’t want to take the car every time you go out. Note that the price is fully inclusive at this property so there are no “extras” at all. Free wi-fi access is also available.

Accommodation
On the ground floor there is an attractive living and dining room with comfortable seating, a fireplace with a wood-burner and a television with some satellite channels. French windows open to both the front and the back garden from this room. The kitchen is separate and is well equipped with 4-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and electric kettle. The kitchen also opens onto a terrace for outdoor dining. Bedroom one is on the ground floor and has a wide double bed, 160cm, and its own shower room. There is a separate W.C. on this floor. Upstairs, bedroom two has a double bed, 140cm, and bedroom three has twin beds. There is another shower room with W.C.

Situation
Peymeinade is a small town (population about 7,000) with good local shops including an excellent butcher, a large street market, a supermarket, a couple of restaurants and bars, all within very easy walking distance. There is also a really good traiteur selling local Provençal specialities and ready meals. The coast is about 18km and there is a great choice of beaches at Mandelieu, Cannes and Antibes in one direction, and St Maxime, Les Issambres and Frejus in the other. There is a large lake, the Lac de Saint Cassien, about 10km which has beached areas for bathing, and there are pedalos, boats and sailboards for hire. There are tennis courts 500m and a golf course 12km. The property is very well situated for touring both inland and along the coast: the dramatic scenery of the Verdon gorges is worth a trip, as are the beautiful Iles de Lérins off the coast of Cannes. The picturesque old villages of Cabris, Spéracèdes and Saint Cézaire are within a few minutes drive. All these villages have good, inexpensive restaurants. There are beautiful country walks along marked paths starting in Peymeinade and all around the village of Cabris.The historic town of Grasse, world famous for its perfume, is 7km. The old town is very interesting and full of picturesque winding streets with 17th century buildings and hidden squares with cafés and fountains. Grasse now has an excellent rail connection to the coast; there is a large free car park at the station and regular trains go to Cannes and along the coast.
