This detached Provençal villa is situated high up near the beautiful hilltop of Cabris. It has magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and towards the sea in the distance. The property has an enclosed garden, 1000m², with grass and flowerbeds. The superb private swimming pool is larger than average and is gated; it has gentle steps for easy access and loungers for relaxing by the pool. There is a large south-facing terrace with shaded area for outdoor dining and a spacious and well-equipped summer kitchen with barbecue, 4-ring hob, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a ping-pong table and parking for several cars within the property.
The interior is furnished in traditional Provençal style; the décor is a bit old fashioned but the house is very well maintained. It is child friendly and is well suited to a relaxing family holiday.

Accommodation
All the accommodation is on one level. The living room is spacious with comfortable seating, fireplace, television, dining area and French windows opening onto a terrace overlooking the pool. The kitchen is separate; it is well equipped with a 4-ring hob, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and electric kettle. There is a laundry room with a washing machine. Bedroom one has a double bed, 140cm; bedroom two has a king-size bed, 180cm; bedrooms three and four each have twin beds. There is a bathroom with bath and shower and W.C., and there is another shower room and a separate W.C. All the bedrooms and the dining have fans. A cot and high chair are available if requested in advance.

Situation
The house is about 2km from Cabris which has some very nice restaurants, a boulangerie and a couple of other small shops. There is a way-marked path to the village which starts near the property, so if you like walking, it is possible to walk to the village without going along the road. It is 4km from the centre of Grasse which has a good choice shops and supermarkets. The coast is about 20km and the nearest sandy beaches are at Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Cannes and Antibes. There is now an excellent rail link which runs from Grasse to Cannes and along the coast. (There is free parking at Grasse station and the trains run frequently until late at night). The property is very well situated for touring both inland and along the coast: the dramatic scenery of the Verdon gorges and the Loup gorges are well worth a trip; the Lac de Saint Cassien, which is excellent for watersports, is about 20km; there are many attractive perched villages in nearby such as Speracèdes and Montauroux. There really is something for everyone in the immediate area: perfume museums 4km, tennis 5km, golf 6km, miles of marked paths for walkers starting in Cabris, local markets in the neighbouring villages and world class art galleries in the nearby towns such as Nice and St Paul de Vence. Nice airport is about 25 km.
Linen and terms
Bed linen and towels are provided. Refundable damage deposit EUR 300 cash. Final clean EUR 80 (compulsory). Normal consumption of electricity is included .
