This detached little house, near the picturesque village of La Colle sur Loup, has recently been very attractively restored. It is in the grounds of the owners’ house, but is not overlooked. There is a new swimming pool, shared with the owners, with a rigid cover making it secure when the pool isn’t in use, and also keeping the water temperature warm. The house has a small private garden with a terrace with beautiful views of the hills and mountains; there is a barbecue and garden furniture for outdoor dining. There is parking at the front of the property. The interior of the house is immaculate; it has been newly decorated and furnished in contemporary style with bright colours creating a cheerful atmosphere. This is a child-friendly house: everything you need but not cluttered! |

Accommodation
There is a combined living room and dining room with comfortable seating, television (including CNN and News 24), DVD and CD player. There is also wi-fi. The kitchen is separated from the living area by a counter bar. It is well equipped and has a 4-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge and electric kettle. There are two bedrooms. Bedroom one has a wide double bed, 160cm, and a very attractive ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and W.C. Bedroom two has twin beds and is accessible by going through the main bedroom. There is also a sofa-bed in the sitting room which can sleep two more people if required, but the property is ideal for a family of 4.

Situation
The property is situated in attractive countryside 2km from the centre of la Colle sur Loup. The nearest restaurant, boulangerie and supermarket are within 1km. There are tennis courts and horse riding within 3km. The house is about 5km from Saint Paul de Vence, the medieval village made famous by artists such as Bonnard and Picasso, and home to the Maeght modern art museum. Saint Paul has a good selection of shops and restaurants including the world famous (and expensive!) Colombe d’Or. The old part of Cagnes-sur-Mer called Haut-de-Cagnes, about 3km, is very attractive and also has artistic connections; Renoir’s house, Les Collettes, is now a museum with several of his paintings and works of his friends. The property is also well placed for exploring the ‘arričre pays’ of Nice with its ancient perched villages such as Biot, Tourettes sur Loup and Gourdon. The nearest beach is at Cagnes-sur-Mer (pebbly), about 6km, and some of the best sandy beaches are at Antibes about 15km. Nice airport is about 20 minutes drive.
Linen and terms
Bed linen and towels are provided. Refundable damage deposit EUR 300 cash. Electricity is included. Heating is extra, EUR 25 per week when required. Final clean EUR 35, compulsory.
