This is a very pretty house. It is situated in an attractive setting, off a country lane and has wonderful views of the hilltop town of Fayence. The garden is lovely: 3600m², enclosed and completely secluded. There are colourful flowerbeds and mature trees. The house has several terraces around it, some are covered and have garden furniture for outdoor dining and other parts are in the sun. The swimming pool has a fence around it for safety. There is plenty of parking within the grounds.
This is an old property which has been imaginatively restored and has exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and attractively tiled floors. It is very well maintained and combines the charm of an old house with modern comforts. The interior is attractively decorated in Provençal style and has a light and cheerful atmosphere.

Accommodation
There is an open-plan living room with a sofa, wood-burning stove and French windows leading out to the terrace. There is also satellite television and a CD player. The dining area leads off the living room leads and is separated from the kitchen by a counter bar. The kitchen is well equipped with a 4-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and electric kettle. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and a freezer. On the ground floor there is a bedroom which has a double bed and opens onto the pool terrace. This room has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, bidet and W.C. There is another bedroom with twin beds on this floor, and also another shower room and W.C. From the sitting room, a steep stairway leads up to a mezzanine bedroom which has twin beds. This is not suitable for young children because of the steep stairs, but the sofa in the living room converts to a double bed which could be used instead of the mezzanine.

Situation
The house is situated in a quiet lane about 2km from the attractive little town of Fayence. The nearest shops (supermarket and boulangerie) are 1.5km, a pleasant walk or cycle ride. The pretty village of Tourettes is about 4km and both Tourettes and Fayence have good restaurants. There is a large lake about 10km at Saint Cassien which is great for watersports and bathing. The beautiful Esterel coast between Saint Raphael and Cannes, is about 30km. Inland, there are many picturesque villages of the Var to explore such as Seillans, Bargemon, and Saint Cézaire.
Linen and terms
Linen may be hired from the owners for a supplement of EUR 12 per person for bed linen and towels. Refundable damage deposit EUR 500 cash. Electricity is extra. Final (compulsory) cleaning charge EUR 75.
