This beautiful villa has magnificent views towards the Mediterranean. It is in an excellent location on a hillside on the edge of Vallauris and just outside Cannes. The garden, 1200m², is enclosed and surrounds the house. There is a large south-east facing terrace overlooking the pool with a covered area for outdoor meals. There is a barbecue and garden furniture and also a ping-pong table. There is plenty of parking space within the property. The interior is spacious, original and prettily decorated in sunny colours. The house is tastefully furnished and the accommodation is of a high standard. Wi-fi internet access is available. Please note that this property is not suitable for very young children. |

Accommodation
There is a spacious living room, 70m², with comfortable seating, open fire-place, dining area, satellite television, DVD and CD player. The kitchen is separate and is large and well-equipped. It has an oven, 4-ring hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and electric kettle. There is also a washing machine. On the same level as the living room there is a bedroom with a wide double bed, 160cm. This room has an en-suite shower room and separate WC. Four steps down from the living room there is another bedroom with a wide double bed, 160cm. This room also has an en suite shower room and WC, and there is a view over the swimming pool. On the first floor there is another room with a double bed. An extra single bed is available for this room upon request for people who don't want to share a bed.

Situation
Vallauris is a small town near Cannes, made famous in the nineteen forties by Picasso with exhibitions of his ceramics. The property is situated between Vallauris and Cannes. There is a boulangerie and a supermarket about 1km, and there are restaurants in Vallauris, about 2km, and many more in Cannes itself, about 4km. Cannes has a wide range of cafés and restaurants and it is possible to eat well without spending a fortune. Some of the little restaurants on the beach, la Plage du Midi, near the old part of the town are particularly good. The market, Marché Forville behind the picturesque old harbour is also well worth a visit for a terrific range of local produce. The nearest sandy beaches are at Golfe-Juan, about 4km, and the Croisette in Cannes, 5km. There is much to visit in this area: boat trips to the islands just off the coast of Cannes, the Iles de Lérins; the lively old town of Antibes with its stylish boutiques, sandy beaches and Picasso museum, is about 6km; the picturesque villages of Mougins and Valbonne are about 7km. Cannes is also well placed for exploring the coast by train: there are regular trains in both directions, to Saint Raphael, Nice and into Italy. Nice airport is about 20km.
