Set amongst the olive groves up in the hills between Fayence and Grasse, this delightful Provençal property stands in extensive grounds, 2km from the picturesque village of Saint Cézaire. The cottage we let adjoins the French owner’s villa. The pool is shared with the owners. It is a larger than average pool and is in a lovely setting surrounded by ancient olive trees; it has a south facing terrace with sun loungers. There is also a swing in the garden. There is a very pleasant open air dining area, a “tonnelle” shaded by a large grape vine, with garden furniture and gas barbecue for outdoor meals. The property has a secure gateway and stands in a hectare of land some of which is “garden” and some is natural land so a bit wild. There is parking space within the grounds. |

Accommodation
All the accommodation is on the ground floor. There is a spacious living room with a dining area, satellite television and an open fireplace. A counter bar separates the kitchen from this room. It is well-equipped with a dishwasher, electric hob, oven and microwave, fridge, freezer and electric kettle. There is also a washing machine. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, 140cm, and a childrens' room with bunk beds. As well as the two bunks, three is another pull-out bed which is low off the ground and may be more suitable for small children. There is a bathroom with a bath, shower and bidet, and separate W.C. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

Situation
The property is in a country setting up a quiet lane on the edge of Saint Cézaire. The village has a few small shops, a restaurant and a couple of cafés, tennis courts and there is a street market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. In the summer there are local fêtes which create a lively atmosphere. Apart from lovely scenery this area has much to offer nearby: the attractive little town of Fayence, Saint Cassien Lake for water sports and bathing, the perfumeries in Grasse. It is a wonderful area for walkers with marked paths in and around the Siagne Valley. The coast is about 30km and Nice airport is 50km.
Linen and terms
Linen may be hired from the owner for EUR 15 per person for bed linen and towels. Refundable damage deposit EUR 200.
Electricity is extra. Heating is extra. Final clean EUR 40(compulsory). Sorry no pets because the owners have a dog.
