Situated in a commanding position above Nice, on Mont Vinaigrier with fantastic views over the town and the coast, this property has a lovely private pool and a large, beautiful garden. The views over the town are stunning at night as well as during the day. The pool is fenced off for security reasons and it has wide steps for easy access for non-swimmers. The house was built in the 1950s and has a large roof top terrace, ideal for soaking up the sun. The garden has mature trees with plenty of shade and another large terrace with plenty of garden furniture for outdoor dining in different parts of the garden, and a stone barbecue for outdoor meals. There is a small fishpond and a water feature. There is also a boules pitch, a swing and a slide for children and a long, level stretch of lawn . Inside, the house has an old fashioned feel to it but it is a very well-equipped holiday home in a superb position. Most of the rooms have a wonderful view.

Accommodation
Access is up some wide steps and all the living accommodation is on one level. There is a sunny sitting room with a dining area, sofa (converts to a comfortable bed), dresser, television and video. The kitchen is opposite this room and it has a mixed hob, gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and kettle. There are two bedrooms. One has a standard double bed (140cm) and the second room has a narrow bed (120cm) and a standard single bed (90cm). There is plenty of storage space for clothes. There is a shower room, and washing machine. There is a separate W.C. A cot and high chair are available upon request. There is internet access (Wi-Fi).

Situation
The house is situated on the eastern side of Nice, near the observatory, about 7km from the town centre and the sea. There are local shops, a market and a supermarket a couple of minutes drive away, about 3-4 km. There is one restaurant about 800m from the house. There is a tennis court 200m. There are excellent walks on marked paths around the hillside. The property is well placed for easy access to Cap Ferrat, Villefranche and Beaulieu. The coast is beautiful here and there is much to visit within a very short distance - the spectacular medieval village of Eze is about 10km, Monte Carlo is about 20km. Nice itself has much of cultural interest for art lovers, such as the Matisse and Chagall museums. The old town is lively and full of good places to eat particularly around the Cours Saleya. There are also excellent restaurants on the beach all along the Promenade des Anglais, see last photo.
Linen and terms
Bed linen and towels are included. Refundable damage deposit EUR 400. Electricity is included but heating is extra when necessary - EUR 0,15 Kw/h. A car is essential at this property.
