This elegant villa is in an exceptional position by the Letty lagoon, near Benodet. The large secluded garden is lovely; it is enclosed and has mature trees and lawn, and there is parking in the driveway. The attractive terrace has a barbecue and garden furniture for outdoor dining. On the first floor there is also a balcony looking out over the sea. The interior has the charm and character of an older property having exposed beams and large windows and spacious rooms. It is comfortably furnished with antique furniture. Whilst the property is great for one large family, the layout of the accommodation also makes it ideal for two families holidaying together whilst retaining some independence. We think this is a delightful property in a superb location. |

Accommodation
On the ground floor there is a charming sitting room with comfortable seating and large dining area. The kitchen is separate and is prettily decorated and well equipped with modern gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed. There is also an alcove off the sitting room with a bed;this is more suitable for a child than an adult as it is about 4 ft wide by 5ft long. There is a bathroom with a bath and a separate W.C.
On the first floor, there is another bedroom with a double bed, and a bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath and there is a separate W.C. There is also a comfortable sitting room which opens onto the balcony, and a kitchenette suitable for preparing breakfast.

Situation
The property is situated in a pleasant area of large secluded villas; it is a very short stroll to the Letty beach, a naturally formed tidal lagoon, see photo. It is sheltered and safe for swimming. It is about 3km from the chic resort of Benodet with its white sandy beaches, shops, Monday morning market, cafés, casino and excellent range of restaurants. Beg Meil, which also has a beautiful sandy beach is about five minute drive. Here there is a harbour where you can buy seafood and fresh fish. Fouesnant, which has a large indoor water park, Les Balnéides, is about 12km; there is a market in Fouesnant on Friday mornings. It is about 20km to Concarneau famous for its ville close or walled city, and 15km to Quimper, a beautiful cultural town with excellent shops. There are boat trips up the River Odet between Quimper and Benodet. The many nearby activities available include water sports, canoeing, diving, tennis, horse riding and golf. This is a good area for cycling and many of the roads have cycle lanes: we are able to arrange bike hire if requested in advance.
Linen and terms
Refundable damage deposit EUR 200, cash. Bed linen (but not towels) may be hired EUR 12 per bed. Heating is extra when necessary. Final clean EUR 50 (compulsory). A cot and high chair are available for hire.
