This modern villa is in a pleasant residential district of Concarneau, a short walk from local shops and a small beach, and a few minutes drive from the lively town centre and the big beach at Cabellou (see photo). There is also a ferry across to the old town or “Ville Close” which departs from a quay about 500m from the house. The property has a large pleasant garden (not enclosed), mostly lawn, and with a secluded terrace which has garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. There is parking in the driveway. Although the house looks plain from the outside, the interior is much more appealing; it is spacious and light with many individual touches in the décor adding to its charm. |

Accommodation
There is an open-plan living room with dining area, comfortable seating and television and hi-fi. Two sets of French windows open onto the terrace making this a light and sunny room. The kitchen is separate: it has a cooker with a 4-ring hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and kettle. There is a washing machine in the garage. (The garage can also be used to store bikes, surfboards etc). There is a downstairs cloakroom with W.C. and washbasin. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms each with a double bed, 140cm. There is a shower room and another separate W.C.

Situation
The property is situated on the southeastern side of Concarneau about 500m from local shops including a boulangerie, and there is also a restaurant and a bar. Concarneau with its remarkable walled city is about 3km and it has a great choice of restaurants and shops. There is a fine sandy beach five minutes drive at Cabellou, which has a beach club for children. This is a great area for cycling and we can arrange bike hire through our local agent. There are many activities in the area: water sports, boat hire, canoeing, boat trips on the River Odet and out to the Iles Glénans. There is a large indoor water park, Les Balnéides, at Fouesnant, 10km, and there is a golf course, Golf de Cornouailles, at la Foret-Fouesnant, 8km. The property is about 15km from Pont Aven, famous for its artists, 15km from the chic resort of Bénodet and 20km from Quimper, a beautiful cultural city.
Linen and terms
Bed linen (but not towels) may be hired for EUR 12 per bed. Electricity is included. There is a supplement for heating when necessary. Final clean EUR 50, compulsory. Mid-stay clean for 2 week bookings EUR 40 (compulsory). Refundable damage deposit EUR 200 (cash). A cot and a high chair are available for hire upon request. Babysitting is also possible.
