These two pretty little cottages have lots of charm and character. They are situated in a small farming hamlet in the grounds of the French owners’ property, overlooking fields and open countryside. The cottages are arranged so that they do not overlook one another and each property has its own private terrace with stone barbecue and garden furniture for outdoor dining. There is also parking within the property. The beautiful swimming pool and the very large enclosed garden are shared. The garden has swings and alarge grassy area, ideal for children to play. The interiors have exposed stonewalls and beams and they are cheerfully decorated in bright colours creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. We think this is a great place for families: a lovely rural setting, pool on site and a short drive to terrific beaches! |

There is an open-plan living and dining room with comfortable seating and decorative (but not working) fireplace. French windows open to the private terrace from this room. The kitchen area is attractively fitted and has a cooker, fridge and dishwasher. There is a washing machine in an outbuilding shared with the other cottage. There is a small downstairs shower room and W.C. Upstairs (the stairs are steep and open-tread) bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has twin beds. Access to bedroom two is through bedroom one. A cot and high chair are available upon request. The house has electric heating.
B722B, Laura. Sleeps 6 (max. 4 adults)

Situation
The hamlet of Kerséon is situated about 5km from Audierne and Cap Sizun, between the north and south coast of this narrow south west point of Brittany. Audierne, is a picturesque seaside town, famous for its prawns. It has a good range of shops, restaurants, cafés and a very nice beach. There is a good market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Local activities include tennis, horse riding, golf and surfing: there are good surfing beaches at Cap Sizun. There is much to explore in this part of Brittany: the Pointe de Raz, 10km, which is the Land’s End of Brittany, the Ile de Sein which is about 8km off the coast, the cliffs at the Baie des Tréspassés and the cultural town of Quimper, about 30km. Audierne is about an hour and a half’s drive from Brest airport. (There are flights to Brest from some UK regional airports.) It is about two and a half hours from Roscoff.
Linen and terms
Refundable damage deposit EUR 200, cash. Electricity is included in high season, but is charged extra at other times of the year because the heating is electric. Bed linen (but not towels) included. Final clean EUR 50 if necessary. Babysitting available if requested in advance.
