This delightful little holiday cottage is on an old farm close to the attractive seaside town of Concarneau. The farm is no longer active, but the elderly farmer who lives there still keeps one cow. The cottage has a garden with a large level grassy area ideal for children to play. There is a barbecue and garden furniture for outdoor meals in the courtyard. The garden is fenced off and has a secure gateway from the village road. (N.B. children still need to be supervised around the old farm buildings).
The interior is immaculate as it has recently been completely renovated and everything is new inside. The renovation has been very tastefully done and with lots of charm and character. We think this is a great place for a family holiday – in the country but a very short drive from the excellent beaches of Concarneau.

Accommodation
On the ground floor there is a small open-plan living room with comfortable seating, television and dining area. The kitchen is separated from the living area by a counter bar. It is well-equipped and has a 4-ring hob, oven, fridge and washing machine. There is a downstairs W.C. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with twin beds. There is a shower room and W.C. The house has electric heating. A cot and high chair may be hired if requested when booking, and babysitting is also available if organised in advance.

Situation
The property is in a little hamlet called La Haye just outside the village of Beuzec. It is about 5km from Concarneau, which has a good range of shops and some wonderful seafood restaurants. The nearest beach is also at Concarneau and there are some beautiful beaches with fine white sand within a few minutes drive. The beach at Cabellou (see photo) has a beach club for children. This is a great area for cycling and we can arrange bike hire through our local agent. There are many activities in the area: water sports, boat hire, canoeing, boat trips on the River Odet and out to the Iles Glénans. There is a large indoor water park, Les Balnéides, at Fouesnant. The property is about 15km from Pont Aven, famous for its artists, 15km from the chic resort of Bénodet and 20km from Quimper, a beautiful cultural city.
Linen and terms
Bed linen (but not towels) may be hired for EUR 12 per bed. Electricity is included. For out of season lets heating is extra and bed linen is included. Final clean EUR 50, compulsory. A cot and high chair are available for hire.
Refundable damage deposit EUR 200 (cash).
